Balls an' All

Our Mission is to assist as many people as possible to spay and neuter their pets, thereby helping communities put a stop to unwanted litters. There is a large education and cost factor involved and we are in desperate need of funds to subsidise those who cannot afford even basic primary health care for their animals, let alone food or sterilization.

Balls an’ All is a Community Pet Sterilization Service where people will be charged no more than what they can reasonably afford and the balance is subsidised. We so very often have situations where people have dogs and cats who breed continuously and we assist these ones in getting the situation under control.

It is our informed opinion, that the only solution to solving the pet population explosion fact that so many of these animals leave home to live a life on the streets, often forming colonies or packs which are diseased and become a threat to communities. Balls an’ All is totally self funded, still in it’s infancy, but have successfully sterilized over 500 dogs and 150 cats to date. This represents thousands of offspring that will never suffer the indignity of living cold and unloved on the streets, in a shelter or becoming one of the many thousands of dogs and cats that are euthanized every year in South Africa.

Balls an’ All are also involved in several township initiatives where they not only sterilize pets with the help of volunteer Vets, but give primary health care, education, vaccines, de-worming, dipping, donate feed and a whole lotta love to these impoverished animals and have built up an excellent rapport with the township people which has gone a long way to the welfare of the animals.

Our return visits are testament to this fact and the community now greet us with pride in how well they take care of their furry companions.

We have also started a Anti-Rabies Drive due to the recent outbreak in Gauteng and have given free rabies vacs to the local communities of Henley on klip, Meyerton, Vereeniging, Walkerville, Alberton and as far afield as Boksburg.
